Level 3 Exercise referral & Level 4 Weight Management & Obesity
The role of an exercise referral instructor remains one of the most important in the industry.
Kerrie’s PMA Fitness is able to work with clients and manage chronic illnesses and conditions from the comfort of your home.
The UK’s average life expectancy continues to rise, so does the prevalence of chronic illnesses and conditions like heart disease, osteoporosis, arthritis, obesity, diabetes and asthma. In order to meet the ever complex needs of the nation, today’s health and fitness professionals must have a solid understanding of these conditions, the impact they have on individuals and the most effective forms of treatment.
Kerrie’ PMA Personal Trainer and fitness has this qualification.
Exercise referral, or GP referral as it’s also known, enables Kerrie to better serve existing clients, branch out to new people and work with organisations, such as the NHS.

COVID was a year or more that we will never forget and in light of the patients this illness struck was the reason for Kerrie to study her Level 4 Certificate in Physical Activity and Weight management for Obese and Diabetic Clients.
Kerrie’s PMA Fitness believes that educating clients to a healthier and better version of themselves will reduce the strain on the NHS, reduce the chances of other illness and complications due to these conditions as well as help clients with behavioural techniques to achieve their healthier lifestyle goals. Understanding the role of nutrition and being accountable will make your journey a better one, there is no point exercising without a good understanding of the fuel (nutrition) that we need on a day to day basis.
Stress plays a key role in many illnesses and here at Kerrie’s PMA Fitness we teach coping mechanisms as well as provide nutrition and training plans to suit you individually
